For your team
Prepare a first-day link collection for new teammates
Help a new teammate spend less of their first day searching chat for URLs. Put essential documents and tools in a shared team collection with notes explaining their purpose. Finish by checking that the invited person can open the links.

What you need
You need a team workspace, an owner or administrator who can invite members, and the recipient account. Current pricing copy lists Team at US$7 per user per month, with a two-seat minimum. Check the pricing page, actual seats, and permissions before publication. Personal Free/Pro capacity is not the requirement for team invitations.
The result
New teammate · First week brings together an introduction, day-one setup, handbook, and design system. Invitation acceptance and destination permissions must be verified separately from this display example.

Steps
1. Check the team, seats, and permissions
Select the team workspace and check the plan, purchased seats, and your invitation permissions. Team has a two-seat minimum; check available seats before inviting.
2. Prepare the first-week collection
Create a New teammate · First week collection with sample links for a handbook, contact guide, and work tool.
3. Add purpose and access notes
Explain each link and any precautions. Identify the environment for development URLs and note any separate login or access request.
4. Invite the teammate
In Members settings, verify the recipient and role before sending the invitation. Join with the invited account and check access to the team collection.

5. Verify member access and agree on maintenance
Agree who will review the collection and when, for example monthly. Have the new teammate open the original links and check access at each destination.
If saving or finding a link fails
If a saved link is missing, check the account, workspace, and collection, clear unwanted search or tag filters, and reload. After an error or lost connection, check for an existing copy of the URL before retrying. If signed out, sign in and recheck the destination and URL. If shared content is not restored, copy its URL again from the source and add it manually.
Capabilities and conditions
Joining a link collection does not create accounts or grant permissions at destination services. If an invitation is missing, check the address, spam folder, and pending status. Ownership and review dates are team practices, not automatic management features. Pricing and invitation permissions require a live check before publication.
Common questions
What if the title or image is missing?
Check the original URL and add a recognizable title if needed. Do not use thumbnail availability as proof of a successful save; check that the list opens the intended URL.
Does saving preserve the original forever?
This guide covers organizing URLs. Deletion, visibility changes, and login requirements depend on the destination. It does not permanently store social images or video files.
