Agreement
These terms govern your use of the web app, browser extension, and mobile app offered by linqlo (linqlo.app). By using linqlo you agree to them.
Our Privacy Policy forms part of these terms and covers how we handle personal information.
Your account
- Provide accurate information when you register
- Keep your password and sessions secure. We treat actions taken through your account as taken by you
- You may hold more than one account, but not in order to work around the limits of the free plan
- Tell us promptly if you notice unauthorized use
Plans and billing
linqlo offers a free plan and a paid plan (Pro). The features and limits of each plan are the ones shown on the pricing page.
- Payments are processed by Polar Software Inc. as Merchant of Record. Billing, refunds, and tax are handled under Polar's terms and procedures
- Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from settings
- After cancelling you keep the paid features until the end of the billing period you have already paid for
- We will give you notice before changing prices
Your content
The bookmarks, notes, tags, and collections you save remain yours. linqlo handles them only as far as running the service requires — storing, displaying, searching, and sharing them with the people you choose.
If you create a public link, anyone who knows that link can view the collection. Managing how widely you share is up to you.
We recommend keeping your own copy of your data using the export feature.
What is not allowed
You may not:
- Use linqlo for anything unlawful
- Save or share content that infringes anyone's rights, including copyright, trademarks, and privacy
- Place an excessive load on the service or its servers, including automated bulk access
- Reverse engineer the service, exploit vulnerabilities, or access anyone else's account without permission
- Impersonate linqlo, or redistribute the service in a way that suggests it comes from us
Availability
The service may be partly or fully unavailable at times because of maintenance, faults, or outages at services we depend on. We give notice of planned maintenance where we can.
We may add, change, or discontinue features. We will give notice before significantly reducing what a paid plan includes.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time. Deleting it removes the data tied to that account, and it cannot be recovered.
We may suspend or delete an account without prior notice if these terms are broken.
Disclaimer
linqlo is provided as is. We do not warrant that it fits any particular purpose, that it is free of errors, or that it is always available.
We do not control the content of the sites you save links to, and we take no responsibility for it.
Limitation of liability
Our liability for damages arising from your use of linqlo is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months. On the free plan that amount is zero.
This limit does not apply to intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or to any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance over any dispute relating to these terms or the service.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will update this page and revise the last-updated date. We will notify you by email about significant changes. Continuing to use linqlo after a change means you accept the updated terms.
